I am 23 years old and have my upper and lower jaws are a little disinclined, though it doesn't look odd. I had an injury few months ago and my front 2 teeth got damaged. I was planning for ceramic crowning on my 4 front teeth. I am concerned that would the ceramic crowns on my already bulge out teeth make my upper jaw look more bulged out?

Hi, I have a massive hole beneath my lower incisor and 2 NHS dentists say they cannot offer a crown or a denture without a fee. I have had fillings but they come out within a week or so. I receive pension credit. I have a partial denture that I have stopped wearing as it pivots centrally and is painfully uncomfortable and a speech impediment. It has just occurred to me that I can see no reason to not have a crown for free.

I recently had a crown replaced on my back right molar as there was decay underneath it. It already had a root canal too. The first dentist I went to see recommended extraction, so I went to another dentist for a second opinion. Although the prognosis for the tooth isn't great he suggested that he could try and save it as "sometimes these things can work" So I have had the tooth treated again, decay removed, a post put in and ...

Hello. I need a crown as I've had 2 lots of root canal treatment & now have a temporary filling. I am allergic to nickel & possibly other metals - I don't know which, as one can only get tested for common allergens. I don't appear to be allergic to gold, most silver, or brass. My dentist says all crowns are as strong as each other, but I have found information suggesting that gold ones are better as they last longer & don't ri...

I have two large teeth on either side of my mouth in my lower jaw and these are very filled. I would like to have these crowned on the NHS but my dentist said they are too weak to crown. I think the roots are still OK. I do not want a lower denture (already have an upper denture) and would like these two remaining teeth crowned (other teeth either side have been extracted but I can just manage to eat using these remaining two ...

Hi, I'm currently an NHS patient and I'm undergoing treatment for root canal on an infected tooth which is a top front molar tooth. I've had a previous white filling in the tooth and when I spoke with my dentist he said that after the root canal treatment I would have to have a crown fitted over this. Although I'm not exactly thrilled with the idea of having a crown if it will protect my tooth and allow me to keep my tooth for...
