Hi, I've had my front four teeth crowned for the 2nd time now. 2 different dentists. Although they look ok they never feel right,always bulky. But the biggest prob i have with the permanent crowns is dryness.My top lip just sticks to my teeth and i experience a burning pain. Rest of the mouth is fine and the i didn't get the dryness when i had the temps in. The final crowns have been glazed etc so it's not making much sense. T...

I recently broke the crown on one of my front teeth and had to have a new one fitted. The other front tooth is also a crown but the dentist did not want to replace this one as well as it was still in very good shape (its about 17 years old). The first crown she fitted was very solid looking in colour whereas the other crown next to it is quite translucent. I said I wasnt happy and she agreed to replace it but I did have to pay...

i had two crowns fitted 4yrs ago and paid private. one came of recently while biting into something and when the dentist put it back on he said it was cracked which was normal for crowns. where do i stand paying privately and i have half of it missing at the top?

I just had a temporary crown fitted on my front tooth and it has made the gap between my teeth wider and squinter, will this be corrected when my real crown is fitted? I'm getting a full porcelain crown in 2 weeks.

As you can see from pic attached 2 of my crowns have moved down and look extremely unsightly and have slight movement. My dentist says I can't have done on the NHS as it's classed as cosmetic work and will have to go private, I would like to know if this is right

Having not had dental treatment for c.7 years (not a great starting point I know!) I registered and went for a dental checkup a few months ago and unsurprisingly needed 3 fillings.
