It is also pushing on the left crown which is very uncomfortable and moving slightly. I have also noticed that I cannot bite togethe...

I had a crown fitted on the NHS 6 montgs ago. It has now broken and taken the 'base/pin/stub' of the tooth with it. My dentist has informed me it is up repairable as a Crown. As the work was under taken less than 12 months ago, am I entitled to any form of treatment to rectify the problem?

I just had 5 upper front teeth crowned with zirconium crowns. They look gorgeous and feel okay. When my husband told his dentist about them, his dentist was skeptical, saying the technology was too new. I have the utmost faith in MY dentist, but just for argument's sake, what is the downside of zirconium?

Hi the tops of my bottom four front teeth have become brown over the years. The brown stains cannot be removed by the hygienist and are very unsightly. I`m so ashamed of the state of my teeth that i hardly smile and try not to talk face to face with people. would it be possible to have my bottom front four teeth crowned on the nhs or would i have to have them done privately(which i can`t afford) thank you, A.James

I have broken a back tooth that already has a large amalgam filling. The dentist has advised it be crowned. A white, non NHS, crown has been advised on the grounds that it is a superior product when compared with a NHS gold one. Before I proceed can anyone please comment whether this is correct?

I had a crown put in 20 years ago. It has been put back in about 6 times during this period. My current dentist tells me that it cannot be put in again because I have a fracture in the root. This missing tooth is a front upper tooth. What are my options?

My front crown (about 20 years old and once recemented) has come off. My dentist says it cannot be recemented. I don't understand her reasoning as I was not aware of losing any of the tooth at the time it came off and the crown with post intact do not appear ot have any broken material attached to it. I have done a temporary fix whilst awaiting a denture plate. My fix seems reasonably firm given that I have not used tooth ceme...
