Hello, Had severe toothache and the dentist suggested some fillings, some of which were composite on the premolar so had to pay roughly £100 for each of those. The pain did not go away so after looking again a couple of weeks after the initial treatment it was decided to perform a root canal on one of the teeth that had the composite filling (2nd premolar), after the treatment the composite filling was replaced free of charge....

I have just returned from my orthodontist for a check up on my teeth and retainers and he is telling me that my 4 top teeth the roots are deteriating. What's this mean? Am I gonna lose those teeth? What would be the procedure?

I had a crown on a post that kept falling out, the NHS dentist said the root was fractured and it could not be put back and I would need a partial denture, he has fitted the denture but has not removed the part of the tooth that is in my gum, will this need to be removed in the future? it is causing me no pain now, he originally said it was included in the £225 I paid but said after 2 months this treatment will be finished, so...

I had an eating disorder for 10 years, the result left me with a lot of reoccurring root canal work and weak enamel. Hello, I had a lot of dental work 20 years ago (crowns etc) and more recently restoration work to the original work. I therefore have to keep a close eye on things and have check ups every 6 months. I am due a check up next week but last week a crown came off, I went along to my dentist for an emergency appointment and he put a post in and cemented the crown temporarily and said we can discuss what to do with it when I come in...

My teeth are terrible, stained from smoking, irregular and I apparently grind. I was widowed last year and really haven't looked after myself but am just getting back on my feet.
