Ive had an extreme swelling and bruising following a dental injection. Severe swelling occurred immediately after the injection. Then extensive black bruising near my chin and under my chin plus green and yellow bruising and continued numbness over my cheek. The injection was in preparation for work on an upper tooth.

I had been with the same nhs dentist for many years. I had a four teeth bridge for a long time but last year it came away and could not be put back in. I got a partial denture which I can't get used to. My dentist said he could refer me for more specialist treatment. After being with this dentist for so many years I decided to go to another dentist and then another. I realise I have made a big mistake by doing this, I don't kn...

I am an NHS patient and have been advised to have a back tooth extracted, which I do not want although it is sometimes painful. I have had a private quote from a different dentist (for root canal treatment) which is cheaper than the private quote received from my NHS Dentist. My question is, if I have the private treatment at the dentist who quoted the lower fee, could I then go back to my NHS dentist for further treatment in ...

I've just had my 7 year old daughter at the Dental Hospital due to referral by our NHS dentist. She had X-rays done and the dentist that saw them basically said that all her baby teeth need to be extracted, as they all had some degree of decay. He said this was due to a lack of good enamel on them and after a long discussion about oral hygiene and diet, he basically said that it was more than likely down to my bad pregnancy. I...

I'd very much appreciate if you could please forward some contact details for Dr King. Many thanks, Chris Blades

My son is 8 and 10days ago he knocked his top tooth out, we visited A&E and the tooth was put back in within 30 minutes. He then had an impression done and a gum shield was fitted. We have visited the dentist today to be informed the tooth will probably die, however at the hospital we were informed as he is young and the speed of getting the tooth back in it's more likely it will heal. The gum shield is due to come out next we...
