Hello. On the NHS

Hello.

On the NHS website it states that a band 3 charge covers everything in bands 1 and 2 and above – so covers crowns and what not.

My dentist told me there is an obligatory 3 month wait after my root canal filling before a crown would be fitted.

I am now being charged separately for the crown – band 3 on top of the band 2 already paid.

If the crown fitting is then a band 3 charge on top of the band 2 charge already paid then how can the NHS website description of what band 3 covers be true?
