Hi sir, my age is 25 and i am male. I went to consult dentist few days back as I am feeling pain in between 2 tooth. He said that there is decay in between those 2 tooth and two tooth spoiled almost 50% and filling wil not do any help and he suggested me for root canal and Zirconia crown. One more dentist suggested for dental implant. I know about root canal and crowning. What exactly dental implant means? In my case what is best possible and permanent solution? Remember I need permanent solution for my problem

Usually this comes from the type of the material used to make the crown or the opposing teeth putting too much pressure on the new crown . This can be lateral forces(side to side forces) look at the occlusion category .

Please look in the Implant category on this site , but simply put . An implant is an artificial root and stops you loosing your teeth next to where the potential tooth that may be lost is .

Onto this we screw or cement a new crown . It is the only way stop loosing bone that supports all your teeth when teeth are missing . One missing tooth has a socket that is shared by 2 other teeth and so it goes on . If properly placed they will last longer than you .

If they can guarantee that they can do a good root canal then this can last a long time . it will depend on the actual tooth and how long they think it will last and how old you are and how much money you can put towards the proper treatment .
