I am an

I am an NHS patient and have been advised to have a back tooth extracted, which I do not want although it is sometimes painful. I have had a private quote from a different dentist (for root canal treatment) which is cheaper than the private quote received from my NHS Dentist. My question is, if I have the private treatment at the dentist who quoted the lower fee, could I then go back to my NHS dentist for further treatment in the future. I want to stay on his books, but would like to have this one tooth dealt with privately and then continue, by going back to my NHS dentist, for any future treatment. Would my dentist be OK with this, do you think?
