I went to

I went to the dentist about 4 months ago for 2 fillings, they where to cover up 2 dark areas on the outside of my teeth along gumline, same both sides so they grinded a bit away then covered, i had an injection of some kind to numb. It went fine and was very pleased but i have since lost my smile! getting worried now as it’s been a while and thought it would have returned, it’s like my muscle on right side of my face has had a nerve damaged, when i try to smile one side is droopy like i’ve had a heart attack, that kinda look. I didn’t even notice it for ages as i don’t often look in the mirror when smiling but i can feel a little area in my face where i feel there is a muscle trapped or an injury or something. I couldn;t find my dentist phone number but finally got the info and callig them tomorrow to see what they say, i’m thinking what happens if i lost my smile for ever? i read up that if they use highly concentrated local anesthetic it can cause permanent nerve damage causing this. Just wondered what you guys thought. THANKS

You will need to go back to your practice, has it improved yet ?
