My dentist has told me I have some gum pocketing at the back which is level 3 and requires injections for deep cleaning and an applied antibiotic. My friend has been told by her dentist that she has level 3 pocketing but thorough cleaning flossing and regular hygenist trips will deal with it perfectly adequately! Surely both lots of advice can't be right? My dentist is new and replaced my other dentist who retired. I have alwa...

I visited my dentist today and had a wisdom removed, asked her if it was possible to replace the bridge on lower teeth and she said it wasn\'t possible but I get a very sore gum if I try to eat that side and I believe the wisdom became damaged because I can only eat on one side, why won\'t she replace my bridge? I am just patient.\r\n

I am 30 years old and have had a porcelain crown on my second last bottom molar since my early teens. The gum has slowly receded over time so you can see silver around the porcelain, now I can see some of the original tooth where the gum has receded. I was prompted to look because the gum felt a bit tender when I was brushing. Is this bad??

Could you tell me what sort of material it is normally made of and if it is a good quality material that they use these days (anti corrosive)? I ha...
