Ok....long story ...here goes. Had a bit of pain after giving birth on left side of mouth. Dentist did X-ray and said it was a previous root cannalled tooth which showed had only been half done by an nhs dentist about 5/6 years ago. In regard to my dentist  making me a crown and the choice of colour for it, is there not more to it than his just holding up a colour shade tab against my mouth in front of a window?   What is the opinion of your dental panel?

Hello. On the NHS website it states that a band 3 charge covers everything in bands 1 and 2 and above - so covers crowns and what not. My dentist told me there is an obligatory 3 month wait after my root canal filling before a crown would be fitted. Hi, I had 3 front crowns and a 2 tooth bridge done 3 years ago. Since then, my bite has gone to pot and I am suffering terrible jaw ache due to my mouth now closing as it always did. I would like a tekscan (T-scan) done but can't find a dentist in my area that has one of these devices. I would appreciate any advice as to how to find one. Thankyou

I would be grateful for some advice. I am currently undergoing orthodontic treatment, and at present am wearing a removable brace with a bite plate which is creating extraction gaps in my upper jaw.
