I was told to come back in February for a checkup to discuss further action which could be either an extraction or a full root canal and crown. The temporary filling crumbled and I had it replaced today. So far I have paid Band 2 charges of £56.30p, plus another £20.60 for the replacement filling today (I think because I asked...

I have been told that there is some decay on a tooth that has previously been crowned, I was told I can be referred to have this sorted out but that I will have to pay, that it is not available on the NHS - is that correct?

I visited my dentist today and had a wisdom removed, asked her if it was possible to replace the bridge on lower teeth and she said it wasn\'t possible but I get a very sore gum if I try to eat that side and I believe the wisdom became damaged because I can only eat on one side, why won\'t she replace my bridge? I am just patient.\r\n

My orthodontist felt this was caused by poor plaque control despite my existing rigorous cleaning regime and 3 monthly visits to the hygienist. However, despite continuing my cleaning regime, the gum recession has been getting progressively worse.\r\n\r\nI’ve now seen an oral surgeon as the o...
