My crown fell out 3 days ago and today I went to get it re attached by an emergency dentist (not my own). As I have left I have looked in the mirror and noticed that the tooth next to it has moved (it appears to have been pushed in). I am now biting on this moved tooth as it stands proud from the others. This seems ridiculous, but is it possible that a tooth can move as a crown is pushed into place?

A long story but I have been referred to have a tooth out under sedation on the NHS. I was told by my original dentist that she could not crown it as there was insufficient tooth structure. (Tooth has large cavity extending below gumline.) Assessment at hospital - told tooth possibly wouldn't crown. Do you think it would be possible for the dentist to crown my tooth using a core/post build-up? And if so, do you know if this is...

My daughter, aged 6 has to have a sterling silver crown fitted on her primary tooth and I'm wondering if its possible for her to have a zirconia ceramic crown fitted instead as the silver will be quite noticeable when she smiles. Does anyone know if these are fitted on children in the UK?

Over the years I have had 2 crowns fitted on my top front right tooth. I recently had the crown replaced for a 3rd time because the previous one kept coming loose. The new crown is smaller than my other tooth. The previous crowns were a perfect pit, my dentist even took a mould with my previous crown. I don't understand why there is now a slight gap between my crown and the front tooth next to it. Plus the crown looks like it ...

Since the birth of my second daughter I have had many problems with my teeth (she is almost 5). Whilst most of my back teeth are ok (wisdom teeth have been extracted), my front teeth are in a very bad way. In 2011 I was sedated by my dentist, I had upper left 1 & 2 extracted and replaced with implants and some sort of composite built up to a sort of tooth shape, upper right 1, 2 & 3 all had fillings, which have fell out severa...
