I have had a fall and broken about a third off my front tooth (the top one). I have a temporary cap on it now and I'm due to have an x ray in a few days. If the tooth is found to be stable my dentist says she can just fill it and it won't be noticeable. My teeth are quite ugly at the front I was wondering if I could have the front 2 or even four made into a bridge or crowns? What are the alternatives to filling it please. The ...

I have recently moved and attended my first new session as a NHS customer at the local dentist. I was concerned as my two front teeth are beginning to chip. I visited my dentist due to persistent pain. After three visits, he concluded that the problem was because my gums had receded from a crown. He replaced the crown. I still have the pain and now the bite is off. I cannot chew on that side due to the bite and pain. My dentist does not accept that there is a continuing problem and says the bite is fine. Should I get a second opinion?

Since then the bite has been off. I have suffered for a year now. I have been referred to a consultant who basically said try and live with it. All teeth are able to touch but my jaws keep loosing this bite and clenching. I feel...

I have a silver amalgam filling which does not give me any pain but is making the tooth very grey. I am not due to see the dentist for a while yet but I just wanted to know if that was ok?!  It is a large filling and there is not much tooth around it!

I have been to my dentist regarding pain in the one tooth that I have that had a root canal. My dentist is recommending extraction. I realize I can go to an Endodontist for treatment. Is that the way to go?  If I have the tooth extracted (Lower Left no 7)  will my teeth move, if I don't have an inplant?
